Upper Canada Soap & Candle Makers Lip Butter

Let me be honest–I am a chocoholic. 100%. So when I heard that Upper Canada Soap & Candle Makers were looking for people to review their new Body Truffles line–I was all over it.

The Body Truffles line has three delicious flavors: Creamy Milk Chocolate, Double Chocolate Raspberry and Belgian White Chocolate. For the Lip Butter I received, it came in Belgian White Chocolate. Yum oh yum.

The Lip Butter is a creamy–just like butter–moisturizing balm that gives you a nice, almost lipgloss, shine. It smells like “real” chocolate..not that cheap dollar store chocolate, but delicious Belgian White Chocolate. I couldn’t believe how lifelike the scent (and taste) was.

While it left my lips feeling like silk, I actually found another use for it that is quite unconventional. Since I am trying to lay off the chocolate to reach my weight loss goal, every time I crave a chocolate treat, I apply the Lip Butter. The fragrance and taste of it is enough to quench my craving and stop me from reaching for that “moment on the lips” fat laden chocolate bar (ice cream, brownies, cake–you get the idea). Seriously–this Lip Balm is so true to the fragrance you feel like you just ate some delicious chocolate cake and left a few crumbs on your lips.

Hmm…I think I am going to go apply more now. ;)
