Twisted Fayte Glam Queen Eyes
These are the fabulous colors I received from Twisted Fayte from the Glam Queen Eyes collection.
I can’t tell you in which order, what color is what because I mixed everything up as I was trying to align everything, but I can tell you the colors I received and you can match them on Twisted Fayte’s website.
The 6 colors received were: Blazin Baubles, Rag Doll, White Noise, Momma Bare, Miso Naughty (I love that name) and Lola and Leather. I love using the colors interchangably, but I find I tend to use Blazin Baubles and Miso Naughty more often than the others. It really depends on the my shirt color that day since I like to pair pink and pastel shirts with my pink and lavender colors on my eyes and my neutral colored clothes with more coppers and browns.
The Glam Queen Eyes collection offers a lot of shine. I tend to put less along my brown line, but add a second layer of color on my lid to deepen the look. I also like to take a thinner brush and wet it and apply the pigments on as eyeliner.
Right now Twisted Fayte is having a 20% sale until January 10th and this includes the Glam Queen Eye pigments. So if you like the colors you see here (more colors are offered on the site), hop on over there for the sale! Not sure about the color pigments offered on Twisted Fayte’s site? She is also offering 20% off on sample sized pigments (which are generously portioned) as well. www.TwistedFayte.com

these colors look so pretty! mac’s pigments are so expensive and you know you’re not going to use it all, so this seems like an awesome alternative choice! i also bet these will look awesome when mixed with a solvant to make a wicked looking liquid eyeliner!

I am really digging these six colors! Very subtle and alluring shades. I also agree with Yoyosushi, the very first MAC pigment that I bought over two years ago hardly has a dent in it. I love pigments but this seems like a cool, more affordable choice.

Looks too glittery to me. I’ve had issues in the past with loose eye color…I can’t seem to control it and it gets all over my face, no matter how light my application.

Looking at these eye shadows makes me think of only one thing- my hate for glittery makeup. However, sparkles aren’t as bad on your eyes as they are on your cheeks.

I think these could really create a great look so long as you keep a light hand and remember how to be subtle - but they ARE meant to be glam. I’d love to go all over the top Diana Ross - in - Mahogany with these.
