tarte cosmetics: Mineral Powder Bronzer

by Shannon on April 8th, 2007

tarte mineral bronzerI received tarte cosmetic’s mineral powder bronzer back when I got their fab-u-lous cheek stain and lights camera lashes mascara. As always, I love how tarte packages their products, making you feel totally glamorous.

I received Hotel Heiress and was a little nervous that it would be too dark for my pale skin, however, it was the perfect pick me up to bring me from porcelin doll to a living and breathing person.

The powder is very light feeling and depending on how much you apply, you can have a fresh glow or slightly bronzer look (more suitable for night).

Have you used this product? What did you think?

I use this in Park Avenue Princess and I think it is the best bronzer on the market!

I’ve never tried the Tarte Mineral Powder, but it sounds very similar to
a bronzer I’ve been using. Hydra SunRAYS by beautyADDICTS. It has
green tea and a bunch of vitamins and it seems to work with my
skin. I usually get blotchy and red, but when I wear SunRAYS my skin
really looks even and sunkissed. And one of my favorite things about it is that it’s a pressed compact with minerals, loose powders are so messy.

This post reminds me of one of my many lemmings, the Park Ave bronzer! It has gotten really high marks on MUA and I am waiting for my next Sephora trip to get it!

I love pairing bronzer with a black liner and a nudey/pinkish lip. Very Bridgette Bardot, n’est pas? ;)

I have officially just turned too white for my own good. I’m Chicana, and therefore accustomed to having golden tan skin at all times. However, for about a month or two every year, after being bundled up head to toe for the winter, my skin gets all weird and way too light. However, for whatever reason, I’ve never tried any type of bronzer. That’s going to end soon — I’m going to try this bronzer, ASAP! Stay tuned, I’ll post my thoughts soon.

Ok…tarte and mineral in the same sentence? How did I ever miss this? I have to try it! This doesn’t look too too dark…(always a problem for me).

The Park Ave. Princess Bronzer is tarte’s prettiest offering to me, I need to eventually acquire them both. Yoyosushi3, I LOVE that look — BB’s looks have inspired many of my makeup moments.

I’ve been using bare escentuals warmth. It’s really too dark for me but I use just the teensiest amount. This color looks a little better.
