Oops! The Body’s Shop’s Shimmer Smudgers have been sitting in a bin in my office since August! I gave them a test run when I first received them before their launch and then stored them and forgot all about them.
Unfortunately, I most likely forgot about these eye powders because I was not all that impressed. […]

Easy & simple, that’s how I like things. Oh and don’t forget the “things that can’t make a mess” category. Can I tell you how many of my loose powder eye shadow’s I’ve had become victim to my bathroom floor at the hands of a few little boys that shall remain nameless? So I came […]

When I first heard about ColorOn instant eyeshadow, I couldn’t wait to try it. If you haven’t yet heard of them, it is pre-made eye shadow combinations that come on oval shaped cotton strips that you align and then rub onto your eye area. ColorOn is supposed to give you an instant professional look.
I received […]

When I first mentioned this Holiday Collection from MAC, I just knew I was going to love it. The packaging is so vintage-chic, that I covet it like a prized posession.
Of the Royal Assets eye shadow palettes, 6 Warm Eyes is my favorite and the picture of this palette doesn’t do the colors justice. The […]

I received MAC Cosmetics Matte2, Mattene and Plush Lash a while ago and have been meaning to write a review on it for some time. My reaction to the collections are mixed.
Matte2:
I abolutely love matte eyeshadows and definitely prefer them over anything shimmery. However, I have to say that I really wasn’t impressed by this […]

Smoky eyes, done right, can look gorgeous. Although I have seen some people who just don’t get it and either look like a racoon or as if they have just been punched in the eye. MAC Cosmetics makes it easy for anyone to get it right with their limited edition Smoke Signals collection.
Smoke Signals comes […]

I am most excited about MAC’s new Painterly collection. There are 12 gorgeously colored “paint pots” in this collection, and there is not one color that I did not love (even the blue!)
This is the 3rd collection by MAC that I have been able to review and by far my favorite. The formula for the […]

The pigment eyeshadow colors in MAC Cosmetics Rush Metal collection is actually very Fall oriented. I don’t really mind so much, as Fall is one of my favorite seasons (the other is Spring) and I love wearing those warm colors.
Here the rundown of the pigment colors:
Rushmetal: Rich copper sparkle
Revved-up: Icy rose with reflects
Gold Mode: […]

I know the Elizabeth Arden Color Intrigue Eyeshadow Quads have been around for a while now, but the compacts are so beautiful–how can you justify just putting it away in your makeup bag?
I have Sueded Browns and Velvet Plumtones, both gorgeous, rich colors. If you have hazel eyes, both of these palettes look amazing. The […]
