Rimmel Underground Light Beam After Dark
Rimmel has a really great new lip gloss out called “Light Beam After Dark” and it has me wishing that it was something I could’ve had way back in the days of clubbing. I cannot tell you how many times I avoided the long lines to the bathroom and simply applied my lipstick and lip gloss in the dark.
I received my Light Beam lip gloss in Spotlight. I was a little nervous at first because it is hot pink. I was on the verge of feeling disappointed that I wouldn’t really be able to use this product beyond just trying it out for review. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Spotlight is a very sheer gloss with a slight hint of color. What you notice most is the shimmer and the delicious scent of cotton candy.
On the side of the gloss is a mirror, at the top of the wand cap is a button. The wand itself is a mini flashlight. When you press the button, the entire wand lights up which is assisted by the fact that the wand itself is crystal clear. As you look in the mirror and focus the lighted wand towards your lips, all you see is where exactly your gloss needs to be applied.
Beyond being a great gloss, I also think it is ingenious for women going to their cars alone at night or trying to get into their homes in the dark. Use the gloss to quickly light up the keyhole and you will no longer be fumbling when that creepy guy that wants your number tries to follow you to your car.

My daughter thinks this is awesome, and uses it to read in bed in the dark - the light is very bright!

where in God’s name can I purchase this lip gloss… I’ve looked everywhere….INCLUDING THE STATES FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!

I think they have discontinued it! I don’t see it at my local Target anymore. =/ I really like Rimmel products because they’re always so edgy yet pretty at the same time.

I have it in like. 3 colors. I was forced to pass one along to my nieces though who think it is a toy! I love it, not the best for color, but it gives a really great natural shine. I found it in WalMart.
This is what I use for touch-ups when I’m out clubbing, and every girl in a ten foot radius immediately pounces “WHERE’D YOU GET THAT? OMGZ!!!!” Lol, it’s pretty cute.

I loooove this idea. I’ve seen it before, but wasn’t a big fan of Rimmel. I figured that they were like a step up from Wet’n'Wild. (At least, that’s where their products were placed at the Target.) Next time I see it, I’ll pick it up and try it out. They’re so affordable, no harm in trying!
