Pix! Natural Mineral Kit

by Shannon on July 22nd, 2008

Pix!, a beauty brand from the UK, has some pretty cute products that are worth mentioning, especially their Natural Mineral Kit that will be launching in August at Target.

Pix!’s Natural Mineral Kit contains 4 mineral eye colors, powder blush and creme cheek color, and 2 lip glosses. The kit I used was called Santa Barbara where the eye shadows were different shades of brown, blush was a natural pink and lips were a matte fleshtone and shimmery pink.

The eye shadows were flawless–no creasing at all. Blush was beautiful and natural. Loved the fresh shimmering pink gloss on my lips. Since this product isn’t out for a few more weeks, I don’t have an image of it, so hopefully me wearing the colors will suffice. (Please pay no attention to my humidity ridden hair though!)

You can learn more about Pix! at www.pixibeauty.com and be on the look out for them in Target!

    GOOD MORNING,
I’m glad that you did write about these people & places that just try to promote thier products. I seen this go on at other websites. They will make multiple postings to try to sell & push their products on people. It can get annoying. I’m glad that you have the experience to deal with this & keep it under control.

I also agree about removing products from places that do this. I was also sorry to hear about your mom’s illness. I was ill for 8 yrs. without a correct diagnosis. I was told by many ignorant doctors that it was just anxiety, all in my mind or menopause. I’m still not in menopause. I finally was able to find a couple good doctors on my own. This past Valentine’s day I had major surgery on my esophagus & stomach.

But the day before my surgery my husband’s ins. co. did not want to pay for it! But my Dr. fought it & I was able to get my surgery a week later. But the ins. co. put me through alot of stress & pain for that week. So, I know what your mom, yourself & family are going through. I will keep you & your family in my prayers.

I love your website. You do a very wonderful job & great service to all who love cosmetics & everything to do with improving ourselves. Also to enhance what we have. I know wearing makeup & looking my best helps me to feel good about myself & more confident.

I also enjoy your e-mail newsletters. I’m still not able to work outside the home due to a few setbacks with my illness. Hopefully that changes. But I appreciate you & your website. Have a wonderful day. Best Wishes, Judy K. Chicago

    Hi Judy,

I’m happy that you’re happy with my blog. :) I think you meant to post this comment under my post regarding companies and PR firms spam commenting me here and not under my review of Pix!.

Also, I wasn’t sure what you were referring to regarding my mom as I haven’t posted anything about my mom. ? And I don’t have email newsletters…unless you receive my feed through email.

    Hope all is well…

I’m originally from RI too! I have family right by McCoy Stadium. I grew up in West Warwick. :) Small world!

Living in Hawaii now but grew up right near you — North Kingstown. I swear I run into RI people all over the world — and there aren’t that many of us!

    HI,
I’m so sorry for the mistake. Yes, I meant to print that comment under what you said. But somehow I did not manage to do that. On 1 of the makeup minutes I received, there was a comment about who I thought was your mom who had cancer. But maybe it was someone else’s mom. It was at the bottom of makeup minute. I dont’ think that I saved it. Otherwise I could forward it to you.

I’m sorry that I misunderstood. Have a great day! Judy K. Chicago.

Oh now I know what you are talking about! I posted about another mom here in PA who has cancer for the 3rd time and they stopped chemo on her. I’m among many bloggers trying to help raise money for her medical bills and also for her family so that if she can no longer fight, that they are not left with a burden of debt when she is gone.

Yes, I did just check the previous makeup minutes & I misunderstood. I just assumed that you were talking about your own Mother. I’m sorry to hear that Lisa has cancer. I’m glad that your Mom is not sick.

Thanks for your patience with me. I hope that this clears things up for both of us. Have a wonderful day! Judy K. Chicago.
