Nars Lip Gloss/Lip Stain Gloss Duo
What first appeared to look like tarte’s double ended lip gloss, has surprised me with long lasting color and a beautiful shine. Nars Lip Gloss/Lip Stain Gloss in Turkish Delight/Sayonara appears to be the same raspberry/pale pink, but once out of the tube and onto the lips, it doesn’t look similar at all.
Silky smooth with a satiny finish, this duo looks amazing. Turkish Delight is the perfect hue of pink, which looks great with cool tone colors and that no makeup look. Sayonara is more of a berry brown color for your neutrals and warmer shades. Sayonara is the lip stain with staying power without drying out your lips.
For Spring 2008 they also have the more neutral shades of Stolen Kisses/Pampa, a sparking carmel pink and nutmeg with a touch of shimmer (pictured above on the right).

Turkish delight is pretty pretty pretty. I haven’t tried the gloss/stain duos but I suspect I will very soon, especially if I stumble across one of those secret sales Sephora hides so well.

Nars doesn’t do anything better than their glosses. I haven’t tried their stains but I’ve recently become addicted to stains in general and I definitely need to try this. My current obsession, benetint, is a little too drying.

i’m currently using the maybelline supergloss which has a tint at the end and a gloss at the other. it applies beautifully but dries with streaks. nars has a much better finish and the colors are to die for! and together, they pretty much complete all the lipstick looks a girl could want!
