Mousse Foundation: Just as fabulous for your hair as it is for your foundation
Personally, I have never tried mousse foundation, but with more and more cosmetics brands offering it as an option, it seems to be a foundation trend that is catching on.
I’m interested to hear if you’ve tried any of the following mousse foundations:
Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse (is it heavy? is it really matte?)
Colorescience Chocolate Mousse Foundation Primer (Ok I added this because of the word chocolate. Sounds irresistable.)
Rimmel Cool Matte 16hr Mousse Foundation (again is it really matte? does it really last 16 hours?)
Elizabeth Arden Flawless Mousse Makeup (is it really sheer with a hint of bronze?)
Can you think of any others?

I used Cover Girl Trublend Mousse foundation for about 6-8 months. I liked it for the most part but sometimes it can be hard to blend and I needed heavier coverage. But it does feel nice on the skin!

I have tried the Cool Matte 16Hr Mousse Foundation by Rimmel and CG TRUblend Whipped Foundation.
The Rimmel foundation was definitely not for me. It was streaky and did not last 16 hours!
The CG foundation blends really well and lasts all day! I just like to do a touch up with a little powder in the evening. It also covers everything really well! I barely need concealer when I wear this foundation!

The Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse is actually pretty good! I only use it under my eyes and on my chin around my period (hooray for monthly breakouts!) because I use tinted moisturizer instead of foundation, but it’s pretty lightweight for a foundation and fluffy/airy. It blends well. I have a friend who uses it every day and I was surprised to learn that she did — she doesn’t look like she wears foundation.
