I personally am a fan of the cheek stain - like Tarte. I find it easy to apply and pretty much impossible to make a mistake. It provides me with a nice glow and stays on for a good while. My second fav is a cream blush.

i love both the stain and the powders, but i think the stains stay on longer. The powders just sort of wipe off during the day while the stain is set until you wash it off.

I’ve only ever used powders, but my coworker just got a cream blush, and it looks sexy as heck on her. When we get out of work (we work late usually till 7 or 8pm) she still looks all fresh. I don’t know anyone who uses a cheek stain, though.

I’ve never used a stain, but I hear they are easier to control than they look. To me, powders look more natural, and creams look more. Inner-glowy? Does that make sense? Lol, For times when I layer bronzer over my blush, I’ll use a cream or mousse blush and layer a powder blush of the same color over it. That combo, IMO, has the most staying powder.

stains stay on longer but i never like the colors & they dont seem to blend really well (with the exclusion on tarte ;-) ) i personally love using creams, they stay on my skin all day and the colors are super sheer & soft

I love tarte stains. They last a long time and mimick a really natural flush. Powders can look dry and creams just don’t last on my skin.

stain has the staying power for me. however, this has to be applied really carefully or else you’ll end up looking like a ragdoll. stains also look natural because they tend not to have any shimmer and they don’t look chalky.

Cheek stains stay on longer. Tried and tested. I put my stain first before powder for a more natural flush.
