Makeup Monday: Your Makeup Questions Answered

by Shannon on January 14th, 2008

amrita raoHi, I was wondering whether anyone had suggestions for how to line around the entire eye, even the inner corners…to achieve a look like Amrita Rao’s (pictured). I’ve seen this done on many Indian and Arabic models/actresses, but I can’t quite figure out how to do it–nor how to keep in smudge-proof! Any ideas?” Sheena, Michigan

Just go through this following site http://www.tuimagenpersonal.com/ . You can find a lot of tips for your beauty and makeup.

    Have a beautiful day.

Trisha, I was just looking at that tutorial earlier this week! She did such a gorgeous job, and explained everything in a clear, step-by-step manner.

    Maybe off topic, but…
I love that this blogging community is big enough that we get a lot of different experiences and techniques, but small enough that we can actually get to “know” each other on the blogs. :)

Wow, she’s stunning. We don’t get enough exposure to beauties like Amrita Rao here. But I do know girls who have achieved that look with their eyes. MAC’s kohl pencils will get the job done perfectly, and for a cheaper alternative try Styli-Style which is available @ WalGreens and CVS I believe. When I do something like this I get near a flat surface, like a desk, facing the mirror and place my elbow on the desk - rest my wrist on my cheek, and try and keep a very steady hand. I also keep cosmetic cotton swabs on hand - the kind that are pointed on one end and flat on the other.

That’s such a pretty look! Unfortunately I’m fair skinned and I’m sure it would look terrible on me. Very exotic on the right skintone though.
