Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics
Several weeks back I received a plethora of goodies from Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics. Kim literally spoiled me and I’ve had so much fun trying all the possible color combinations.
What I was sent:
Veena Blush: Poppy and Wild Rose
Veena Velvet Loose Mineral Foundation: Light/Med. Beige, Light/Med. Neutral and Light/Med. Cool
Finishing Silk Powder: Sand
Multi-Purpose Eyeshadow: Lavender Pearl, Light Plum, Driftwood, Taupe and Neutral Plum
While I absolutely love every product I received, my most favorite has been the Lavender Pearl eyeshadow. Even my mother remarked on how gorgeous the color was and asked where she could get it. Lavender Pearl is a pinky lavender with an opal-like sheen. The picture on the site does not do it justice. It has an iridescent shimmer to it. This is the product I have been using to make my eyes really pop.
Due to how light the color is and how it almost mimics a white eyeliner, I have used Lavender Pearl along my brow bone, at the innermost part of my eyelid along the nose and as an eyeliner on my lower lid. It really draws attention to your eyes and looks amazing.
While all of the eyeshadows I received, except Lavender Pearl, look very dark, they are completely blendable and you can “lessen” the color by rubbing your finger over it a few times.
When I first received the loose mineral foundation, I had a very hard time getting it to come out of the sifter. I emailed Kim to find out how I could get the sifter off to access the powder. She let me know that they really pack a lot of product into their jars and that I should tap it upside down on my countertop a few times. I noticed that the first few times, barely anything came out of the jar, but eventually once some of the product had been used, it easily came out through the sifter giving me plenty of powder to work with.
The colors are amazing, the product is amazing and I am really truly impressed.

I received some samples this week and the concealer is awesome! The samples I ordered were too light but they have a great quality so I ordered some more in darker colors! The liquid foundation looks like a good quality product as well…

I received samples of this makeup a while back from one of my friends. I only tried the eyeshadow and foundation. This line is okay, but nothing special though.
