Lulu Beauty Lip Lustre
Oh how I love shiny things. Shiny earrings (diamonds), shiny rings (diamonds), shiny bracelets (diamonds) and so on. So when I received Lulu Beauty’s Lip Lustre, I was very excited to put some shine on my lips.
The Lip Lustre I received was in Velvet, which was a pretty mauve tone and almost had a plum color to it. At first I was a little nervous, as I have never used this color on my lips before. However, my lips looked magical and I was really amazed at how well the color fit in with my skin tone.
The Lip Lustre has shimmer in it, but not so much that you actually feel it. It’s also very light in texture and not sticky at all. I found that it had a good wear length.
This color reminds me of the old Hollywood look. It is classic, yet glamourous.

yes, the old hollywood look! that is my look these days…a deep plummy lipgloss with a slight black eye and nice lightly powdered skin. gotta fit in as much fall looks before summer rolls along.
also, this reminds me of the black honey from clinique. if you’ve tried it, which one do you think has the better formula?

I thought the same thing — that I’d never be able to wear a mauve. But I also have hazel eyes with olive undertone skin, and it works wonderfully. Thanks for the review!

yoyo- black honey from clinique is my cult favorite! I may have to try this.
