Lord & Berry Raincoat Protecting Mascara
Lately these waterproof mascara’s I’ve been trying have begun to change
my feelings towards waterproof mascara’s overall. Normally–not a fan, however Lord & Berry’s Raincoat Protecting Mascara is the second waterproof mascara that I’ve tried that didn’t “feel” like that typical dry, crackly, clumpy sensation I am used to dealing with for these types of mascaras.
Lord & Berry’s Raincoat Protecting Mascara may be different for a reason. It is infused with “nourishing active ingredients.” Honestly, I don’t know what they are, but I can assure you that my lashes felt soft and had I not known this mascara was waterproof, I would have thought otherwise.
The mascara dries fast, but unlike other waterproof mascaras, it was easy to add multiple applications to my lashes. It did take quite a few applications for my lashes to really show up, but I found that if I used the tip of the wand to get every lash, that seemed to do the trick.
Taking it off was super easy too without any effort at all. I used my newly coveted Lancome Bi-Facil (still bowing to Kristen with many thanks) and still noticed that my lashes remained soft.
The only thing I noticed is that most of my lashes seemed to stay pin straight (or curled in the wrong direction), however I think that could be overcome using a good lash curler such as Billy B’s Lash Curler (which is sitting here and gives me good reason to review it).
It’s available on Amazon for $15, have you tried it?
