Lancome Color Fever Shine–L.U.C.I.
Ever since I got ahold of Lancome’s Color Fever Shine lip glosses and lipsticks from their L.U.C.I. collection, I have been singing that song “Fever” much to the chagrin of my children (who are sick of hearing it).
Here’s what I’ve tried:
Color Fever Gloss in Sunray (iridescent) and Seashell (fuchsia): Do not be afraid of Seashell. In the glass tube it appears hot pink, but once applied it is a nice berry color. For me as the time wore on, it had more of a flushed lip color to it. Sunray looks great alone or paired over lipstick.
Color Fever Shine Lipstick in Desert Rose (mauve) and Luminous (iridescent). Wow does Luminous pack some serious sparkle. Not only do you get the shine from the iridescent color, but then you have the mica twinkling on your lips.
These products won’t last long–they are only available through January 2008. You can see all the colors in the collection at www.lancome-usa.com and at a Lancome boutique near you.

I cant wait for L.U.C.I. arrives here! I really loved the color fever Seashell, I love that kind of pink on the lips, they give you a healthy look and the lips gets gorgeous! Also, cant wait for the lippies, both of them, just the colours I loved!

Sad… I made the mistake of waiting too long for the Seashell. When I went back to the Lancome counter, it was gone. Such a nice berry, though! Might you know of any dupes that would be a close comparison?

Rimmel’s LightBeam lipgloss has a color that is similar to Seashell. There are only 4 or 5 colors, so it shouldn’t be too hard to find.
I really am about to cave and get SeaShell. Hardly anything ever sells out @ the makeup counters around here so I’m about 99% sure it’s still @ my local Lancome counter.

I tried the Desert Rose color and it was just over the top glittery for me. I’ve done better.

the l.u.c.i. collection is a bit confusing to me…so it’s supposed to be like the that you see from the inside of a shell? and is it one color fits all? well that packaging certainly is pretty and that hot pink gloss…what girl isn’t lemming pink lips right now??
