Kiss My Face 3 Way Color

by Shannon on April 9th, 2007

kiss my face 3 way colorAfter trying Kiss My Face’s Tinted Moisturizer, I was intrigued to try out their 3 Way Color product. I received mine in Heather, which is a light frosted berry looking color. The 3 Way Color can be used on your lips, cheeks and eyes.

Kiss My Face’s 3 Way Color has an SPF of 8 and is moisturizing with olive and mango butter. The scent is completely delicious and its a mix of pink grapefruit, pomegranate, rasberry and white grape. I felt yummy just wearing it.

On my lips it gives a very natural, yet frosted look with a hint of color. I would even want to say it makes for a great nude lip look if you are toning down the other colors you use on your face.

On my cheeks, I found that I could actually play with the color. Adding a little to just highlight or adding a bit more to really show off some definition. You apply a dab to your finger and simply apply it as you would cheek stain. Since Heather has a frostness to it, your cheeks will gleam and shimmer.

I put a small amount along my brow bone and on my lid and then combined my other eyeshadows with it. Without primer on my eyelids, it did tend to “slip off” after a while. However, I fixed that with Jane Iredale’s lid primer (review to come).

I also used this in combination with their Tinted Moisturizer for a really played down makeup look. Tinted moisturizer on my face, 3 Way Color on my cheeks and lips, dusted on a light mineral powder and then applied mascara. I looked glowing without really having to put a lot of time and effort into an entire makeup routine.

I totally love products that are multi-dimensional and this product really produces so many great ways to use it in combination with my other makeup. It’s a definite must have.
