Fashion Week Goodness: Makeover at the Lancome Boutique

by Shannon on February 4th, 2008

shannon Leo at lancomeFirst–I really think I found the holy grail of mascara’s.

Second, can I just tell you how amazing Leo Bare, Resident Makeup Artist for Lancome is? I need to hire him to come to PA everyday and make me look beautiful. He did such a fabulous job during my makeover at the Lancome Boutique located on the Upper West Side. I honestly was so taken back by how amazing my makeup looked, that I just kept staring at myself every time I passed a mirror!

Leo and I created a video going over the products he used to transform me, and that will be posted in the next week or so…or when Christina has the time to edit shannon nelson FWit and upload it to You Tube for me.

Leo used the L.U.C.I. collection on me, that honestly, I wouldn’t really have given a second look beyond my review of the Color Fever Shine. I’m thrilled that he chose it to use on me and gave me a new perspective.

If you live in NY–take my advice and schedule an appointment with Leo to have your makeup done. He truly was amazing and taught me some makeup tricks along the way.

As for the amazing mascara–you’ll have to stay tuned for a review of it. I can tell you that Christina, Teri and I have been raving about it since my makeover.

My introduction to makeup came when my sister in law took me to a Lancome counter for a makeover. I was in high school, and listened to heavy metal and wore a lot, lot, lot of black.

The lancome MA made me look so glamorous, and French, and yet so natural. I’ve loved makeup ever since. And I’ve loved Lancome makeovers when I need a glam pick-me-up forever!!! Glad you had so much fun at yours, you look gorgeous!

Lancome is perfect as a go-to-GlamSquad, in my experience they have the nicest makeup artists I’ve ever encountered. I love how you look glam, yet natural at the same time! Lovely.

You look really pretty, very natural. When I think of Lancome makeup I think of classic, fresh and beautiful…perfect for a spring makeover!
