Kanebo Cosmetics 38*C Silk Performance Mascara

I recently received Kanebo’s 38*C Silk Performance Mascara. It seems much like Imju Fiberwig’s mascara, yet it is definitely an improved upon formula.
Kanebo’s 38*C (the * stands for “degrees”) Silk Performance Mascara has fibres in the formula that attach to your lashes as you brush on the mascara. The formula appears less “gloopy” for lack […]

Elizabeth Arden Double Density Maximum Volume Mascara

I have so been loving Elizabeth Arden’s Double Density mascara lately.
What they say:
A new dimension in lash power. Dramatically thickens lashes as it separates and defines. Smudgeproof. Lasts all day.

What I thought:
Thickens: Check
Separates: Check
Defines: Check
Smudgeproof: Check
Lasts all day: Check
My lashes look fuller and fabulous. They only sell this mascara in black right, but that is […]

Mix and Match Makeup

I’m not one to stick to a particular brand and just about everyday I mix and match my makeup to suit my mood. I would find it inherently blaaaaahh to just do my face with just Este Lauder or Nars each day. How boring.
Some of my favorite mix and match products are:
* Lumiere Mineral Makeup’s […]

Besame Cosmetics Sculpture Lash Mascara

Last week I recieved Besame Cosmetics new mascara Sculpture Lash in both Black and Plum. It was unexpected and I was excited to give it a try since I have loved everything I have tried from Besame so far.
What they say it does:
With just one coat, its superb mousse-like consistency lifts, curls and separates while […]

Imju Fiberwig Mascara

Imju’s Fiberwig Mascara has to be the one product I was most looking forward to using. It promises dramatic length while separating and defining your lashes. It is the top selling mascara in Japan and supposed to give you false eyelash-like lashes.
What they say:
Engineered to create the perfect lashes with twice the amount of micro-fine […]

My first Sephora purchase

I know–as unbelievable as it may seem, today was the first time I placed an order with Sephora. Thanks to my lovely girlfriend Elke who sent me an egiftcertificate back in December.
Here’s what I ordered:
Benefit Realness of Concealness
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
Imju Fiberwig Mascara
The samples I chose:
LOLA Refine Shine Anti-Shine Gel
Cosmedicine Medi-morphosis Self Adjusting Exfoliator
Prevage Eye […]

Maybelline’s Define-a-Lash Mascara

I had heard that Maybelline’s newest mascara, Define-a-Lash was set to hit stores this week and I’ve definitely found people who are reviewing the product, however, I can’t seem to find where to buy it anywhere! Even the Maybelline website makes no mention about this new product, but the ad shows I am not crazy […]

Besame Cosmetics Introduces Sculpture Lash Mascara

I already love Besame Cosmetics and they have a new product coming out that I am interested to find out if it works; their Sculpture Lash Mascara.
Here’s the details:
Sculpture Lash Mascara adds extraordinary length and intense volume to
even the shortest of lashes using just one coat. Our mascara is destined to be the only […]

tarte Cosmetics: Lights, Camera, Lashes

When tarte sent me their fabulous Cheek Stain, they also included Lights, Camera, Lashes. If there is one thing I think rocks about tarte, it has got to be their packaging. This mascara comes in a purple leather top and bottom. It really makes you feel like you are about to indulge in something special.
What […]

Our fascination with mascara

So far mascara seems to be taking the lead for the one product you can’t live without poll in the sidebar. I actually expected this to be the case. For some reason, so many of us have this -fascination- obsession with mascara. Last night I wrote about this asking all mascara junkies what it is […]
