Tarte Cosmetics Little Blot Book

Review from 8/2006:
When I was in Manhattan, a friend had mentioned that tarte’s Little Blot Book was the ultimate in shine control. As a girl whose shine sometimes affects even those wearing sunglasses, I knew I had to try it. Shine, with me, has been a never ending battle.
When I received my Little Blot Book, […]

Smashbox Photo Finish

I know I will probably catch some heat from this review, but honestly my feelings are so-so about this product. All of my beauty blogger friends have raved and raved about Smashbox Photo Finish, but I feel just “meh” about it.
I looked high and low to try to find out what the ingredients were in […]

Lola Refine Shine Anti-Shine Gel

The Lola Anti-Shine Gel was one of the samples I chose to come with my recent Sephora purchase. I’m always on the hunt for the perfect anti-shine product–one that will mattify but also be long lasting.
Unfortunately this anti-shine gel didn’t do much mattifying to suit my needs. The sample gave me about 3 uses and […]

What they say:
A light-textured lemon-scented anti-shine gel that instantly refreshes and mattifies oily skin on contact. Ideal for acne-prone skin types, this refreshing gel can be […]

Benefit Cosmetics Dr. Feelgood

I tried this product by applying it two different ways; over my makeup and under my makeup. The site indicates that you should apply it over makeup.
The product was much smaller than […]

jane iredale Disappear

By now I am sure you are rolling your eyes and begging, “Not another jane iredale review!” Ladies, ladies…I’m telling you, her products are so worth the review. So please bare with me, because beyond this one, there is still more to come.
Ahh the joys of pregnancy. That does not include pregnancy acne. Nope. Not […]

Lipgloss that makes your teeth look white?

OK, I was searching through Beauty.com’s site tonight on different makeup Fix-it’s and Fake-it’s, when I came across this lipgloss by Kevyn Aucoin. It’s called Liquid Cyber Lipgloss.
Beauty.com says it is a Fix-It for discolored teeth, claiming that the liquid blue sheen brings out your teeth’s whiteness.
My questions are:
1. Who wears blue lipgloss?
2. No kidding […]
