Benefit Cosmetics Gilded
Gilded, from Benefit Cosmetics is a tequila gold highlighting pencil. As my friend Jason says, “Metallics are the new neutral.”
Benefit says, “It’s like 24 carat gold in a stick!”
I have to say, I love this little golden pencil. It’s nice and soft, so it glides across your skin as you apply it. I’ve used it across my brown bone, under my lower lids and on my lips under my 24 sexy gold lip gloss.
Gilded gives a nice shimmer without taking over–it merely compliments any other colors and products you are already using.
Have you tried it?

I’ve never used highlighter pencils before, but you’ve given me a bunch of ideas as to how/where I could use one! Thanks :)

for me (since im very fair toned) this color is more of a low-light rather than a high-light. what would you suggest for me to use, either instead of or in combination with this color?

My friend has this and she loves it so much. It’s a versatile eye pencil and she loves how soft it goes on. It’s great for dabbing in the inner corners of your eyes to make them appear bigger.

This is another product that’s on my “To Get” Beauty List. I’m not as familiar with Benefit as I would like to be, and everyone keeps telling me what a fun, cute company they are with products that really deliver. This pencil looks like it’d be a perfect highlight from me! It reminds me of that one James Bond movie, the one w/ the girl painted gold. So pretty.

I’ve tried this at Sephora and it’s sooo pretty, it really warms up my complexion and highlights just where I need it without being over the top. I just need to wait for my birthday so I don’t have to spend my own money on it!
